We are so proud of our newest doeling "Green Head Farm Easter Surprise". She was the Grand Champion doe in the Pygmy, Nigerian and Fainting Goat classes at the Weber County Fair. She also helped Marshall win his showmanship class. She is only 4 months old! We will have pictures soon on our photo page. Breeding Top Quality NPGA registered Pygmy Goats Located in West Haven, Utah Breeding since 2006 We started breeding pygmy goats in 2006 after not being able to find good show quality pygmy goats in our area. Pygmy Goats are a small, cobby, and compact goat. They should have short, well angulated legs, and a short dished head. Pygmy Goats are very active, friendly and playful. They have a very alert and animated expression. They make wonderful pets, especially for children. Why should we get a registered Pygmy Goat? We found that most of the unregistered goats at some point have been crossed with other breeds, usually Nigerian Dwarfs. When crossed with other breeds, a lot of these Pygmy traits are lost and are impossible to get back. |
